I have a high-stress job.
All holy calling, lofty responsibility, and infinite joy aside, being the mom can feel like an uphill battle.
But one thing reminds me that the craziness worth the "fight" -
"Tank yoo Mami. I yuve yooo!"
What makes it all worth it for you?
{Come along on our crazy, but very worthwhile ride!}

i love the 'tank you'! my daughter used to say that too :)
Oh how sweet! She is so cute!
That's a melting moment right there! I melt with hugs. Love, love, love them!
I posted some of my daughter's little sayings today. Those, her infectious giggle, the little wisps of curls starting to form, her joys and even her tears...all of that makes what I do worth it.
Thanks for your post. It was a nice reminder.

So sweet! :) I love those little things that make it worth while!
Caroline says "tank you mommy" all the time and it does melt my heart even in the middle or the end of a long day.
Noah says, "thank you ma."
Because he thinks I wear a bonnet and drive a covered wagon.
In any case, hearing their gratitude is lovely for sure!
"You're the best mum in the whole world."
"I'm going to hold on and kiss you forever!"
"I just want my mummy."
as they get older and become more aware of what you do..you will find even more "worth it's"
Sometimes when I am cleaning up something of theirs one of them will be there to say.."Thank you or I love you mom".
:)
She is such a sweetie pie...
Hmmm, what makes it worth it for me.
Snuggling with my 3 year old daughter, having a popcorn date in the afternoon. She leans over and whispers... You're the best, Mama!
Hugs,
Traci
That is the sweetest thing ever!!!
Lately I love when our 2 1/2 years old princess just come and climb on our knees and hold our head with her tiny little hand and kiss us a kiss, they are the best kisses on the world (beside my husband of course!!!)
Last week I overheard her in her bed room, during nap time telling her baby sister (11 months old)who was starting to fuss a bit : " Shhhh, shhhh sweetie, night night, I Lowe you"
Those are a few thing that are all worth it :-)
Awww! Cooper just started saying Mama last week. He points to me when he says it and it melts me!
an unsolicited hug or compliement - thanks for asking!
What a cute picture of her!!
So SWEET! ♥
Such an adorable photo!
There are many of these worthwhile moments, from just smelling my son's hair when I'm cuddling him before sleep and all is calm to the way he smiles when he's excited about something new. It's hard, but in the end, such a completely fulfilling experience.
Making a completely home cooked meal that is so delicious that no one speaks for a few minutes because they are enjoying it so much. I love watching others enjoy what I've created.
My best, Lynn
What a sweet, precious photo! And those loving appreciative little words they lisp? Absolutely breath taking.
Being mommy rocks.
What makes it worth it for is at the end of the day, when my babes are sleeping soundly in their bed, and I realize just how much I miss them not being awake.
When they make wise decisions on their own.
When my daughter and I snuggle together to read the next anticipating chapter of Anne of Green Gables.
When my 2 year old son sings "Hallelujah! We worship you!"
When I realize that God has blessed my womb and made it fruitful and has called us yet again to bring forth a child, even through all my mistakes...
oh that totally is a heart melter, for sure! Making all that crazy mom work worth while.
I love the hugs. When they stop in their busy little minds to almost near tackle me and say I love you, Mommy. they are getting so big I almost fall over but that makes my day. and when they say thank you in their prayers for Mommy and Daddy.
What an adorble picture!
"I u too" that is how my 2 year old says it.............melts my heart every time!
Awww - isn't that the best?! Totally makes it worth it! :)
What makes it all worth it for me is the grubby little paws that still get thrust into my hand when we get out of the car or go into somewhere new. They still need to hold my hand even though they are such "big" boys at age 6 and 9
The infectious laughs of my two little ones really make it all worth it. Even when I'm trying to discipline my 3 year old, when he starts laughing I can't help but smile.
I can't wait for an unprompted "I love you", but recently my son has started giving me random hugs and kisses and it just makes my heart melt each time he does it!
OMG that face!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beyond precious!!!!!!
So true. Makes it all worth it.
