As many of you already know, our son Lichen arrived earlier today! After a far more tumultuous (16 hour) labor than I was expecting, he was born at 2:11pm, weighing eight pounds, two ounces, and measuring twenty inches in length.
I will apprise you of the details of his birth story over the next few days, but for now, shall we get to the part in which you are most interested?
